Vladimir Ragimov was born in Baku on January 24, 1957. In 1979 he graduated with a degree in cartography from MIIGAiK.
He was a member of "Battlefield" (bass, vocal, guitar) from 1975 to 1979. He has been writing songs utilizing his own lyrics as well as poetry by S.Sapozhnikov, B.Shtein, D.Chernykh, E.Uzdina, J.Brodsky and others. In the late eighties he served as the president of Baku Songwriters Club. Since 1990 Vladimir Ragimov has lived in Los Angeles. |
