Everybody knows "Za tumanom", "Parij", "Staryy skazochnik", "Gorod" ("Gory dalyokie..."), "Volshebnik", "Poezd" ("A v tayge po utram tuman..."), "Ya gubami solntse snyal so scheki...", "Gostinitsa", "30 let", and other. Kukin - poet-romantic. His songs about life, dreaming, and craving for journey have philosophical irony and light melancholy. They have poetical view of day-to-day life, but don't idealize it.
